Following is public information on the North Lakes KC home association area. Association home owners have access to all the HOA documents and information once signed on properly.
Location and Stats
NLKC is north of downtown Kansas City, MO. It is part of the NorthLand area of KC. It is in Platte County and students go to the Park Hill School District, considered to be the best public school district in the Kansas City area.
There is 155 homes and no commercial businesses. There are no more buildable lots in the association land area.
There is a police substation just a few miles north on I-29, north of Barry Road.
There are 2 lakes owned by the association. Both have fountains in them and due to the number of geese that like our association – floating devices meant to keep the geese off the lake also.
Within 2 miles of the NLKC there are the following businesses: USPS, CVS, HyVee Grocery Store, UPS, Staples, Verizon, AT&T, AMC theaters, On the Border, Chili’s, Chick-Fil-A, Wendys, Panera Bread, Main Event, Texas Road House, Freddys, Walmart and Lowes – among many others.
Zona Rosa is the closest mall area (less than 2 miles away) consisting of many of the standard chains: Dillards, Dicks Sporting Goods, Zales Jewelers, 54th Street, … along with many up scale stores.
